TariffTidy suggests customs tariff codes (HS codes) for a Shopify merchant's products and saves the code and country of origin the merchant approves on those products.
Product details only: title, product type, category, tags, vendor, a short part of the description, and the customs fields (HS code, country codes, country of origin). TariffTidy does not read customers, orders or any personal data.
Codes the merchant approves are saved in the merchant's own Shopify store, on the products. To find tariff descriptions with a similar meaning, product titles, types, categories and tags may be sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which turns the text into numbers and returns them. TariffTidy keeps no copy and has no database. We never sell or share data.
Uninstalling TariffTidy stops it from reading or writing anything. Codes it saved stay on the products until the merchant changes them. Because TariffTidy stores nothing itself, there is nothing further to delete when Shopify sends a data deletion request.
